Adrian Thompson, who designed Pink Lady to Mark Stubbs's specifications, is one of the world's foremost designers of ocean-going vessels.

Thompson has already achieved outstanding success, with wave-piercing technology, the concept of water ballasting and swing-keel yachts, as well as the design of Chris Boardman's record-breaking aerodynamic bike.
